Firearm Training

Force on Force Problem Solving
First Thursdays of the month 6pm-8:30pm Off-Site Location TBD
The OODA loop -- Observe, Orient, Decide and Act -- is a four-step approach to decision-making that focuses on filtering available information, putting it in context and quickly making the most appropriate decision, while also understanding that changes can be made as more data becomes available. The strategy is applicable at an individual level, as well as an organizational level. It is particularly useful in scenarios where competition is involved and where the ability to react to changing circumstances faster than an opponent can be advantageous.
Force on force training is a highly realistic and dynamic form of training often used by law enforcement and military, to simulate real-life-combat or self-defense scenarios. This training involves non-lethal weapons (air soft or simunitions) and focuses on creating an immersive and stress-inducing environment. This type of training exposes participants to stressors similar to those encountered in actual combat or defensive situations. This helps individuals learn to manage physiological effects of stress, such as increased heart rate, adrenaline and fear.
